About the School

¬School of Sociology at Minhaj University Lahore provides the students with a requisite introduction to core themes and issues of the discipline in a stimulating environment. 

It started operating in 2015 with an aim to produce qualified and competent social scientists. To meet this goal, the school possess highly qualified and hardworking faculty members who put their maximum effort into bringing out a student's best self. 

Moreover, our programs, i.e. BS in Sociology and MPhil in Sociology are especially crafted to enable the students to work in diverse job market through comprehensive education and intensive research work.

The School of Sociology at MUL is dedicated to train students with sociological knowledge and application of social research in policy-making at national and international levels. We aim to introduce the students to analytical thinking and research skills that can enable them to develop a relationship among various branches of Sociological knowledge and its application in real life. We are trying to make the students socialize along with their professional training by focusing on creating a good and civilized society. In this regard, the School has a well-qualified and dynamic faculty with highly skillful and experienced backgrounds.
